Interoperable Software Components for the Emerging Location-based Information Services Market
CubeWerx wireless components are based on existing open architectures and specifications, such as the OpenGIS® Web Map Server (WMS), Web Feature Server (WFS), Style Layer Descriptor (SLD) and Filter specifications.
The CubeSERV Mobile development kit can leverage the capabilities of CubeWerx' CubeSERV® and CubeSTOR® technologies by allowing users, who are out in the field, to view and update geographical features stored in a Spatial Data Warehouse.
GeoData currency is thus dramatically improved, as the updated layers in the spatial data warehouse can be immediately included in the generation of dynamic, user-tailored map views.
