CubeWerx to Contribute to OpenGISŪ Consortium Critical Infrastructure Protection Initiative One, Phase 2 (CIPI-1.2)

CubeWerx will provide OGC-compliant technologies for the establishment of a node for testing of concepts associated with operations involving geospatial data brokering across multiple sources

Gatineau, Quebec - March 3, 2003. CubeWerx announced today that its Spatial Data Warehousing and OGC-compliant Web Services technologies will be implemented on OGCNetwork node, designated as the NIMA Node, for the Critical Infrastructure Protection Initiative-1 Phase 2 (CIPI-1.2).

CIPI is a series of pilot projects to advance the interoperability for critical infrastructure protections and other vital services. The National Imagery and Mapping Agency (NIMA) is the sponsor of CIPI-1 Phase 2. This phase will build on the work of Phase 1 by adding a NIMA data server, examining information security issues, test extensions to the existing Web Feature Service Specification and perform integrated experiments between all of the CIPI data servers delivered as part of Phase 1.

CubeWerx will be supplying and assisting in the implementation of the following technology components: CubeSTOR® - Spatial Data Warehouse and Server, CubeSERV WMS - Cascading Web Map Server and CubeSERV WFS - Web Feature Server.
