CubeWerx Products Now Available on NT Platform
HULL, Quebec, February 1, 2000 - CubeWerx Inc., a leading provider of Spatial Warehouse Solutions for geospatial data infrastructures, today announced it's products will now operate on Microsoft Corporation's Windows NT 4.0 OS.

CubeWerx powerful Spatial Warehouse technology is capable of handling very large datasets (gigabytes to terabytes). CubeSTOR™, the company's flagship product, uniquely extends the capability of the Oracle engine. From the beginning, the product family was designed to address the needs of clients with very large volumes of geospatial data who wish to publish or otherwise make their data more readily available, particularly over the Internet.
The technology easily handles all types of Vector, Matrix, and Imagery data within a single, seamless, n-dimensional, multi-resolution Spatial Warehouse. It is particularly well suited for RASTER data. For example, CubeSTOR's capabilities include On-the-fly Re-Sampling, and False Color Satellite Imaging. The technology is also very well suited for managing very large point datasets such as soundings for Hydrography. Query times are independent of the database size, making CubeSTOR technology very scalable.
CubeWerx is also very active participant of the Open GIS Consortium (OGC) whose planned Interoperability Initiatives will make it possible for overlays and combinations of complex and different kinds of geographic information to happen automatically over the Internet, despite differences in a vendors' geographic data storage, analysis, and display systems.
